Outlined below are the prerequisites for authors specializing in the specified subjects:
ENGLISH AND CHINESE
- A bachelor’s degree in English/Chinese, Literature, Journalism or related field
- Teaching experience (schools or tuition centres) preferred
- Innovative and creative when presenting concepts and learning notes
- Capable of generating creative and original compositions and comprehension passages
MATHEMATICS AND SCIENCES
- A bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Science or related field
- Teaching experience (schools or tuition centres) preferred
- Innovative and creative, with the ability to present questions and solutions using diverse approaches
- Able to communicate ideas in a manner that is easily understandable for students
PRESCHOOL
- Qualifications in preschool education preferred
- Minimum two years of preschool teaching experience preferred
- Proficient in written English or Chinese
- Capable of considering a child holistically and seamlessly incorporating MOE’s Nurturing Early Learners (NEL) Framework into learning activities
