Diagnostic Practice in Maths
series uses a 3-Step approach for each
topic to evaluate pupils’ understanding and
application of mathematical concepts.
Pre-Test: To assess prior knowledge and to
ascertain any weak areas in a particular topic
Main Exercise: To close gaps in learning by
providing thorough practice
Post-Test: To determine the amount of
improvement and to gauge mastery of the
topic
A score sheet is provided for pupils to
record and track their performance for each
individual topic.
Full worked solutions are provided to
facilitate self-checking and independent
learning.
